Here are some common questions growers ask when considering orchard management.

The management fee provides you with an experienced orchard manager who is responsible for every task required to optimise production and maximise net $OGR returns.  We also take care of all orchard compliance, H&S, organising labour, administration of contractor payments, and anything else to give you the freedom to have as little or as much input as you like. 

Yes, we aim to cater our management services to you, so can comfortably integrate our management service around any tasks you wish to carry out.

You have two options - you can choose to pay a monthly invoice which consolidates all of the tasks performed on your orchard for the month, or a super-convenient option which sets up a direct debit with 9 monthly instalments based on the orchard budget, followed by a wash-up payment after harvest. 

No, unlike many orchard management service providers, Prospa uses their large-scale purchasing power to negotiate the most competitive rates for orchard products and contractor services, and they pass those savings directly on to you. 

Communication is key to a successful relationship, so to achieve this, Prospa provides quarterly operational and financial reporting, as well as two H&S reports at key times of the year.  Our orchard management team also communicate frequently throughout the growing season, including four visits to review year-to-date progress (e.g Winter), and the plan for the season ahead (e.g Spring).
